" The natural healing force within each one of us is the greatest force in getting well.  Our food should be our medicine. Our medicine should be our food ". Hippocrates

What is nutritional therapy? how can it help?

What is naturopathy?

In the holistic world, we believe that the body constantly thrives to be in a healthy state and that each being has a self-healing power that one can activate by putting the body in the right conditions.

Generally speaking, elements such as the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, where we live, the rest we get, and our posture or relationships can all impact our health in a negative or positive way.

Nutrition is one of the core aspects of nutritional therapy as the body uses the nutrients we eat to make itself, activate metabolic functions, and generate energy production.

Moreover, it is important to add that beyond what we eat, we are what we absorb hence the importance of having a healthy and optimally working digestive system.

Unfortunately, the mass production of industrial foods combined with other problematic factors (artificial lights, stress, toxins, etc.) is highly contributing to the numerous chronic diseases and symptoms we observe & experience today.

As a Naturopathic Practitioner & Nutritional Therapy Practitioner specialized in gut health,  I can help you regain and maintain your health through the power of nutrition and lifestyle (sleep, nature, stress management, etc.)  with tools adapted to your personal situation and unique needs! To address your particular needs and concerns, we will dive into your history, current lifestyle, and health goals to help you become the healthiest version of yourself!

Always remember that “genes load the gun, but lifestyle pulls the trigger.” (Kresser, 2018). No matter your genetics or current lifestyle it is never too late to start living a healthier and happier life!
